RE-HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

RE-HEATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR OUR PREPARED MEALS

Wouldn’t it be nice to indulge yourself and your family with a delicious meal every night of the week? No matter how hectic your schedule gets, we at Midtown Market believe that time spent with family and friends around the dinner table should always be a priority. That’s why we’ve found a way to make dinner simple with prepared entrees available in our meat department daily. We carry a nice selection of pre-made entrees that simply need to be reheated and served. The following are suggested cooking instructions for some of Midtown’s most popular prepared entrees.

Previously cooked food should be reheated to an internal temperature of 165°F to kill bacteria and ensure safety. For soups, sauces, and gravies, bring them to a rolling boil. Always use a food thermometer to verify the internal temperature in several spots, as many reheating methods like microwaves can create hot and cold spots.  Always remember to remove plastic coverings before reheating.
